New Keyless Remote Operated SnugLid "SL"

Industry leader SNUGTop has taken tonneau cover technology to the next level with the introduction of a Keyless Remote option for its new SnugLid “SL” series tonneau covers. The lid’s rotary “slam” latch is operated by means of an electronic “remote” unit —the industry’s first such offering. An important benefit of this keyless system is fast, one-handed opening of the tonneau —which literally “pops” open (great if you’re carrying anything). A key-operated lock offers back-up convenience, should the remote get misplaced. The system is totally stand-alone, and does not require interfacing with the keyless entry system of the host vehicle.

Other technical innovations of the SnugLid “SL” include a unique (patent pending) hinge mechanism that allows the lid to swing open like a hood, the ability to attach the tonneau to the truck bed without drilling mounting holes, and completely containing the hinge under the fiberglass for a totally covered bed (complete protection from the elements).

The Keyless Remote entry feature is optional on all SnugLid “SL” models.

Available options include SNUGTOP's patented SnugGrip™ clamp-on mounting system that eliminates the need to drill holes in the bed, as well as the “SL Series” with its unique (patent pending) swing-open hinge mechanism that works much like a hood and has a rotary “slam” latch.
