  • Automotive Paint Finishes
    Each Astro cover is painted with an industry leading polyester based urethane. This material was designed specifically for the truck cap industry for excellent adhesion to gel coated surfaces, leaving no chance for peeling or fading.
  • Windows and Door
    Astro offers numerous window packages for that sought after sport utility look. Glass is tinted D.O.T. approved safety glass with black frames. No rope mounted Plexiglas to discolor or fade.
  • Front Sliders
    Each cover comes standard with a solid front glass; an optional front sliding window is available for easy access to truck bed.
  • Center High Mounted Stoplight
    Truck Caps ordered for 1994 or newer trucks will be equipped at our factory with a recessed brake light on most models, in the 1800 series a brake light is integrated into our patented Brake light spoiler.
  • Dual T-Handles
    Astro's main concerns for the rear door is security and ease of operation. The majority of new body style trucks have a contoured tailgate, making it necessary to curve the rear door to match. These goals can only be achieved by using a double T-Handle rear door.

Introducing the Astro-cap hard top. THE top of the line 'lid' for your vehicle. We've been approached by top manufacturers from all over to carry their tops, but this one has quality that is by far the best we've ever seen on a hardtop unit.

The hardtop starts with the base painted to your choice of basic colors. Please note: We will not color match. We highly recommend a color contrast to avoid shade variations (i.e.: white vehicle/black top, red vehicle/black top, black vehicle/white top, etc.).

Also contains carpeted interior for good soundproofing, insulation, and great interior finish. Other tops have fiberglass interiors which are not only ugly, but noisy as well. Also has fixed side windows with a 31% tint to keep heat down inside the vehicle and a real cool look. Also comes standard with twin rear T-handles for the rear hatch as well as gas-assist struts to raise and lower.
